1. Acceptance
By downloading or using Sanctuary, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Not a medical service
Sanctuary is a journaling and self-reflection tool. It is not a substitute for professional mental health care, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you are in crisis, please contact a licensed mental health professional or emergency services.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Sanctuary. By using the app, you confirm you meet this requirement.
4. Your content
Your journal entries belong to you. We do not claim any ownership or rights over your content. You are responsible for the content you create.
5. Subscriptions & billing
Premium and Lifetime plans are available as in-app purchases processed by Google Play (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS). Subscription billing, refunds, and cancellations are governed by the respective store's policies.
Lifetime purchase grants access to Premium features for the lifetime of the app. In the unlikely event the app is discontinued, no refunds are owed beyond what Google Play / Apple policies require.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to: reverse-engineer the app; use it to harm others; attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems; or violate any applicable law.
7. Intellectual property
Sanctuary, its design, logo, and code are owned by the developer and protected by copyright. You may not copy or redistribute any part of the app without permission.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you shall not exceed the greater of USD $10 or the fees you paid in the 12 months prior to the claim.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Disputes shall be resolved in Malaysian courts.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Major changes will be notified in-app.
